Peer Mentoring

Be Inspiring mentoring is when another person can act  as a  resource . The job of our several  mentors is to provide support and encouragement .  Peer mentoring could also take place between a person who has lived through the same experience and a person who is new to the experience (peer mentee). All volunteers have been qualified with the skills to relief stress, and are also open and easy to talk to, everything shared will be confidential.
Advantages of peer mentoring
While Peer Mentoring can provide valuable support for students at critical points in their life, it offers a range of other benefits for both mentor and mentee:
  • Gain constructive advice, encouragement and support
  • Learn from the experiences of others
  • Increase your social confidence
  • Become more motivated to make reliable decisions
  • Develop your communication and personal skills
  • Develop strategies for dealing with both personal and academic issues
  • Identify goals and establish a sense of direction
  • Gain valuable insight into the next stage of your university career
  • increase confidence to socialise and make new friends
